Cleone is well known in sunny South Africa as a radio DJ and TV personality, and in 2001 she moved to London where she DJed at Heart 106.2. She is the voice you can hear narrating the AUDIOBOOK (for people who enjoy trivia) and she is also the voice of the safety announcer on South African Airline flights (just in case you’re ever on one!) Cleone has a passionate love of animals and nature (which is why this is her favourite photo) and she is studying Reiki, Metaphysics and Animal Communication. Cleone and Gleb are working on a couple of other collaborations and she has a fantasy novel in the pipeline. In stark contrast to blonde princess Little Miss Mary, Cleone has been a tomboy her entire life and she loves the message that this story conveys; which is find something meaningful to do with you life and do it… in or out of heels!

Gleb was born in not-so-sunny, freezing Russia and didn't see a real pineapple until he moved to the UK aged 11. (No, it isn't Russia in the photograph, and it's not a real pineapple either.) As a teenager Gleb had his eyes set on becoming a professional tennis player, but after going to university started writing for film and TV (go figure). Inspired by Cleone's futile attempts at giving him a makeover (although he is now cleanly shaven) Gleb started writing and illustrating his first book. The book took six months to complete, but finally, after many arguments, it is finished and work has already begun on the sequel: "Little Miss Mary and The Monster Boutique". Gleb loves marinated artichokes and olives. He HATES muesli because of his pathological fear of raisins, but strangely, not sultanas. Hmmm.
